Ruby has built a vast portfolio through her own practice as well as having worked for some of the most distinguished firms in the country; TVS Design in Atlanta, TPG Architecture, and Studios in New York, where she led projects for Interface, Dow Jones, The Wall Street Journal, Orrick, The Johnson Company, and IMG Worldwide. In 2019, Ruby was recognized as the New York Honoree and recipient of the IIDA Leadership Award of Excellence for her dedication to and advancement of the Interior Design profession. She served as Chapter President of IIDA NY for the 2020-2021 season. Through her work with IIDA NY, she advocates for systems level change to advance racial equity in the design industry. In summer 2020, Erin co-founded the IIDA NY Equity Council who’s mission is to achieve accountability for a more just and equitable design industry through the Design Industry Pledge, which focuses on four key pillars in the workplace: inclusion, diversity, education and communication.

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Ruby co-founded Solutions NOW Foundation, a social justice 501(c)(3) nonprofit that mobilized immediate support for local communities, seniors, and individuals experiencing food, housing, and economic insecurity. She is an alumni of the Pathways To Equity training program offered through Open Architecture Collaborative, which provides designers with knowledge and adaptive skills to engage in meaningful community partnerships.

Erin graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. In 2023, she completed the Mindful Design School Feng Shui certification program.
